Incumbents monitor drug therapy, adjust doses based on individual patient parameters, interface with medical staff on issues related to drug therapy, and promote the cost-effective and appropriate utilization of pharmaceuticals. <strong>This role also entails precepting within the RUHS PGY-2 Emergency Medicine Pharmacy residency program. </strong></span><br><br><strong>Ideal candidates will have:</strong><strong data-pasted="true"> </strong><ul type="disc" style="margin-bottom: 3pt;"><li>Completion of PG-Y2 Emergency Medicine Residency and/or hold board certification in Emergency Medicine Pharmacy.</li><li>Advanced clinical knowledge of medications used in emergency care.</li><li>Rapid decision-making skills, and the ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments.</li><li data-section-id="1iffgud" data-start="2139" data-end="2214">Effective communications skills.</li></ul><br><strong>Work Schedule:</strong><ul><li><span data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody" style="color:inherit;" data-pasted="true">12-hour shifts, 6:00 pm - 6:30am, with a m<span data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody" style=" color:inherit;" data-pasted="true">inimum 3 shifts per two-week pay period</span></span></li><li>Weekends and holidays may be required for coverage.</li></ul><span style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px;"><span style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px;"><span style="color: inherit; font-style: normal; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px;">The Clinical Pharmacist I – Per Diem is a professional level classification and reports to a Supervising Clinical Pharmacist. </span></span>Per Diem classifications are distinguished from regular classes in that they receive max compensation in lieu of County fringe benefits.
