<br><undefined>This position will serve as a functional member of the Continuous Quality Improvement Team in implementation of program goals and objective. This role involves a systematic approach to monitoring, assessing and improving health care quality at SIU Center for Family Medicine-. Primary functions will include review of charts/processes, working reports, assisting with the assessment and monitoring of quality metrics, the teaching of preventive medicine, and assists in clinic as needed. This position will work closely with the Director of Clinical Ops, Nurse Administrator and will collaborate with physicians, residents and other members of COi, and the health care team and patients to promote the delivery of quality, in a patient-centered environment.</undefined><br><br><undefined>*On-Site Only*<br></undefined>
<p style="margin: 0 0 8pt;"><strong><u>Credentials to be Verified by Placement Officer</u></strong></p><ol style="margin-top: 0; margin-bottom: 3pt; color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 1); font-style: normal; text-indent: 0;"><li>Bachelor's degree as required by the position to be filled in the area of specialization inherent in the position may be required.</li><li><u><strong style="font-weight: bold;">One (1) year (12 months)</strong></u> of Quality Improvement work experience in a clinical or healthcare related field.</li></ol><p style="margin: 0 0 8pt;"><strong><u>Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSA’s)</u></strong></p><ol style="margin-top: 0; margin-bottom: 3pt; color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 1); font-style: normal; text-indent: 0;"><li>Knowledge of computer skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint</li><li>Knowledge of process improvement methodology and tools</li><li>Knowledge of data collection methodology</li><li>Knowledge of basic statistical process control components</li><li>Knowledge of benchmarking tools and best practices</li><li>Problem-solving and team facilitation skills</li><li>Skill using CQI tools and techniques</li><li>Strong analytical skills</li><li>Ability to train, present to small and large groups</li><li>Ability to act as a consultant to clinicians and non-clinicians</li></ol><p style="margin: 0;"><strong><u>Condition of Employment</u></strong></p><p style="margin: 0;"><strong><u>Out of State Applicants that apply to Springfield vacancies in classifications in the occupational area of Professional, Semi-Professional, or Managerial will be subject to the following Condition of Employment</u></strong>: Pursuant to the State University Civil Service System, an out-of-state resident who is hired into this position <strong><u>must establish Illinois residency within 180 calendar days of their start date.</u></strong> </p><br>
