EMBEDDED SYSTEMS EXPERT DO-254

<p>We are seeking an <strong>Avionics Hardware Architect</strong> with expertise in <strong>DO-254</strong> and airborne electronic hardware development to lead the architecture, design, and certification of safety-critical avionics systems.</p><p>The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and architecting complete avionics hardware solutions from requirements through certification while working closely with systems and software engineering teams.</p><p>Location: The role can be onsite (CT), hybrid, or fully remote.&#xa0;</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Architect end-to-end avionics hardware systems from concept through certification and production.</li><li>Collaborate across systems, hardware, software, verification, and certification teams.</li><li>Lead airborne electronic hardware development activities in compliance with DO-254.</li><li>Support certification audits and regulatory compliance activities.</li><li>Able to assess and advise on the application of COTS in alignment with AC 20-152A</li><li>Able to define interfacing between Hardware and FPGA.</li><li>Able to define interfacing between Software and FPGA.</li><li>Interpret PCB/CBA design considerations and constraints.</li><li>Support definition and allocation of system-level and software requirements.</li><li>Design and implement solutions for &#xa0;FPGA, ASIC, board-level, and embedded hardware efforts.</li><li>Conduct architecture reviews, technical assessments, and trade studies.</li><li>Drive requirements traceability, verification planning, and validation activities.</li><li>Mentor engineering teams and provide technical leadership.</li></ul> <ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.</li><li>Strong avionics hardware development experience.</li><li>Extensive hands-on 12+ years of experience with <strong>DO-254</strong> certification programs.</li><li>Experience architecting complex avionics hardware systems throughout the product lifecycle.</li><li>Strong understanding of:<ul><li>Airborne Electronic Hardware (AEH)</li><li>FPGA and digital hardware development</li><li>Hardware/Software Interfacing</li><li>Systems engineering methodologies</li></ul></li><li>Excellent communication and technical leadership skills.</li><li>U.S. citizenship is required.&#xa0; Dual citizenship should be disclosed.</li><li>Able to travel approximately two to six weeks in a year.</li></ul> <p><em>CS Group US values diversity in the workplace and encourages women, visible minorities, ethnic minorities, aboriginal people and people with disabilities to apply.</em></p><p>All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.</p><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><ul><li>All members included in annual cash bonus opportunity</li><li>2% annual retirement benefit opportunity</li><li>Training/Professional Development opportunities for all members</li><li>6 paid holidays</li><li>Industry leading medical, dental, and vision Insurance</li><li>Vacation / Sick Time&#xa0;/ Bereavement leave</li><li>Employee Assistance Program, including mental health benefits</li><li>Spouse / Child Optional Life&#xa0;</li><li>Whole Life Insurance / Critical Illness Insurance / Legal Assistance / Military Leave</li></ul>
