<p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">• Developing Objectives and Strategies – Establishing long-range objectives and specifying the strategies and actions to achieve them.</span><br><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">• Making Decisions and Solving Problems – analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.</span><br><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">• Provide Consultation and Advice to Others – Providing guidance and expert advice to management or other groups on technical, systems or process-related topics</span><br><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">• Resolving Conflicts and Negotiating with Others – Handling complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances and conflicts, or otherwise negotiating with others.</span><br><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">• Communicating with Supervisors, Peers or Subordinates</span><br><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">• Getting Information — Observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources. This information can be exchanged in person, in writing or by telephone or e-mail; examples: communicate technical information, conduct presentations, compile information through interviews, and confer with legal advisors.</span><br><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">• Processing Information – Compiling, coding, categorizing, calculating, tabulating, auditing, or verifying information or data: Investigate insurance claims; verify investigative information; note discrepancies in financial records.</span><br><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">• Organizing, Planning and Priortizing Work – Developing specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize and accomplish work.</span><br><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">• Guiding and Developing Teams – Encouraging and building mutual trust, respect and cooperation famon team members.</span><br><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">• Guiding, Directing and Motivating Subordinates – Providing guidance and direction to subordinates, including setting performance standards and monitoring performance.</span><br><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">• Establishing and maintaining Interpersonal Relationships – Developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and maintaining them over time.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">• Manage Claims Advocates, Claims Consultants and other Administrative Personal.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>KEY COMPETENCIES:</strong></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">• Investigate, evaluate and settle claims, applying technical knowledge and human relations skills to effect fair and prompt disposal of cases and to contribute to a reduced loss ratio.</span><br><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">• Supervise claims adjusters to ensure that adjusters have followed proper methods.</span><br><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">• Adjust reserves or provide reserve recommendations to ensure that reserve activities are consistent with corporate policies.</span><br><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">• Resolve complex, severe exposure claims, using high service oriented file handling.</span><br><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">• Pay and process claims within designated authority level.</span><br><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">• Confer with Counsel on claims requiring litigation</span><br><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">• Contact or interview claimants, doctors, medical specialists or employers to get additional information.</span><br><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">• Maintain claim files such as records of settled claims and an inventory of claims requiring detailed analysis.</span><br><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">• Prepare reports to be submitted to company’s data processing department</span><br><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">• Conduct detailed bill reviews to implement sound litigation management and expense control.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:</strong></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">• 7-10+ years of brokerage claims experience, including knowledge of P&C coverages, policy forms and brokerage claim customer service activities.</span><br><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">• Intermediate to advanced computer skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and the ability to navigate the internet.</span><br><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">• Ability to interact with a wide variety of people.</span><br><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">• Ability to work independently with little supervision.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:</strong></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">• Valid P&C Property Casualty Broker-Agent License.</span><br><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;">• Juris Doctor of Law Degree, required</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>The national average salary for this role is $175,000 to $200,000 in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits. The base pay offered will be determined based on your experience, skills, training, certifications and education, while also considering internal equity and market data.</strong></span></p>
