We’re looking for an experienced Plumbing Lead Installer who takes pride in their work, knows how to lead from the front, and can ensure every installation is completed safely, correctly, and to a high standard. This is a hands-on leadership role. You’ll work alongside your crew while taking ownership of the installation, job quality, productivity, and overall customer experience. You will: <ul> <li> Lead residential plumbing installation projects </li> <li> Work hands-on alongside installers and apprentices </li> <li> Direct the crew and assign daily responsibilities </li> <li> Ensure installations meet plumbing codes and company quality standards </li> <li> Troubleshoot installation challenges and make decisions in the field </li> <li> Maintain jobsite safety, productivity, and organization </li> <li> Deliver a professional customer experience </li> </ul> <h2>Key Responsibilities</h2> Installation & Technical Execution: <ul> <li> Perform and lead residential plumbing installations </li> <li> Install and connect water, drain, waste, vent, gas, and related plumbing systems </li> <li> Install piping, valves, fixtures, water heaters, pumps, and related equipment </li> <li> Read and interpret plumbing plans, layouts, specifications, and job requirements </li> <li> Determine proper pipe routing, elevations, and fixture locations </li> <li> Troubleshoot leaks, pressure issues, drainage problems, and installation deficiencies </li> <li> Ensure all work meets applicable plumbing codes, manufacturer specifications, and company standards </li> </ul> Crew Leadership: <ul> <li> Lead and coordinate installers and apprentices in the field </li> <li> Assign daily tasks and clearly communicate job expectations </li> <li> Provide hands-on training, coaching, and technical guidance </li> <li> Set the pace for productivity, workmanship, professionalism, and safety </li> <li> Inspect completed work and provide quality-control oversight </li> <li> Help develop apprentices and less-experienced installers </li> </ul> Customer Experience: <ul> <li> Communicate professionally with homeowners throughout the installation </li> <li> Explain completed work and system operation when needed </li> <li> Maintain clean, organized, and professional jobsites </li> <li> Deliver a 5-star customer experience from arrival through job completion </li> </ul> Performance & Accountability: <ul> <li> Take ownership of job quality, productivity, and completion </li> <li> Ensure installations are completed efficiently and on schedule </li> <li> Coordinate materials and verify required equipment and supplies are available </li> <li> Maintain accurate job documentation, including materials, labor, and project progress </li> <li> Identify jobsite challenges early and communicate needs to plumbing leadership </li> </ul> Standards & Safety: <ul> <li> Follow all applicable plumbing codes and company installation standards </li> <li> Follow OSHA requirements, company safety procedures, and PPE requirements </li> <li> Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and plumbing equipment </li> <li> Perform final quality-control inspections before job completion </li> <li> Maintain clean and organized company vehicles, equipment, and jobsites </li> </ul> Team Collaboration: <ul> <li> Communicate effectively with plumbing leadership, dispatch, warehouse, and other team members </li> <li> Coordinate with HVAC, electrical, and other trades when necessary </li> <li> Assist leadership with job planning, material needs, and crew coordination </li> <li> Support team goals and contribute to a positive, accountable work environment </li> </ul> <h2>What We’re Looking For</h2> <ul> <li> 21+ years old with a valid driver’s license and insurable record </li> <li> Ability to submit a background check and pre-employment drug screen (including marijuana) </li> <li> Strong residential plumbing installation experience </li> <li> Apprentice or Journeyman plumbing license: Required </li> <li> Previous Lead Installer, Foreman, or crew leadership experience: Preferred </li> <li> Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and safety standards </li> <li> Ability to read plumbing plans, layouts, and specifications </li> <li> Strong troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude </li> <li> Ability to lead, train, and provide direction to a crew </li> <li> Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship </li> <li> Strong communication and customer service skills </li> <li> Ability to work independently and make decisions in the field </li> <li> Ability to manage time, materials, and job progress effectively </li> </ul> <h2>Important:</h2> <ul> <li> This is a hands-on leadership position—you will be expected excellence, and consistency </li> </ul> <h2>Experience:</h2> <ul> <li> Plumbing: 3+ years (Required) </li> <li> Plumbing installation: 2+ years (Preferred) </li> <li> Lead/Foreman experience: 1+ year
