<p>We’re looking for an experienced <strong>Plumbing Lead Installer</strong> who takes pride in their work, knows how to lead from the front, and can ensure every installation is completed safely, correctly, and to a high standard.</p>
<p>This is a <strong>hands-on leadership role</strong>. You’ll work alongside your crew while taking ownership of the installation, job quality, productivity, and overall customer experience.</p>

<p><strong>Compensation & Benefits:</strong></p>

<h2>The Role (What You’ll Own)</h2>
<p>This is more than completing plumbing installations—you’ll be responsible for <strong>leading the crew, owning the job, and making sure the installation is completed correctly from start to finish.</strong></p>
<p>You will:</p>

<p>Lead residential plumbing installation projects</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Work hands-on alongside installers and apprentices</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Direct the crew and assign daily responsibilities</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Ensure installations meet plumbing codes and company quality standards</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Troubleshoot installation challenges and make decisions in the field</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Maintain jobsite safety, productivity, and organization</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Deliver a professional customer experience</p>
</li>
</ul>
<h2>Key Responsibilities</h2>
<p><strong>Installation & Technical Execution:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Perform and lead residential plumbing installations</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Install and connect water, drain, waste, vent, gas, and related plumbing systems</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Install piping, valves, fixtures, water heaters, pumps, and related equipment</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Read and interpret plumbing plans, layouts, specifications, and job requirements</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Determine proper pipe routing, elevations, and fixture locations</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Troubleshoot leaks, pressure issues, drainage problems, and installation deficiencies</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Ensure all work meets applicable plumbing codes, manufacturer specifications, and company standards</p>
</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Crew Leadership:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Lead and coordinate installers and apprentices in the field</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Assign daily tasks and clearly communicate job expectations</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Provide hands-on training, coaching, and technical guidance</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Set the pace for productivity, workmanship, professionalism, and safety</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Inspect completed work and provide quality-control oversight</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Help develop apprentices and less-experienced installers</p>
</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Customer Experience:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Communicate professionally with homeowners throughout the installation</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Explain completed work and system operation when needed</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Maintain clean, organized, and professional jobsites</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Deliver a <strong>5-star customer experience</strong> from arrival through job completion</p>
</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Performance & Accountability:</strong></p>
<ul>

<p>Take ownership of job quality, productivity, and completion</p>
</li>

<p>Ensure installations are completed efficiently and on schedule</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Coordinate materials and verify required equipment and supplies are available</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Maintain accurate job documentation, including materials, labor, and project progress</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Identify jobsite challenges early and communicate needs to plumbing leadership</p>
</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Standards & Safety:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Follow all applicable plumbing codes and company installation standards</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Follow OSHA requirements, company safety procedures, and PPE requirements</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and plumbing equipment</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Perform final quality-control inspections before job completion</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Maintain clean and organized company vehicles, equipment, and jobsites</p>
</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Team Collaboration:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Communicate effectively with plumbing leadership, dispatch, warehouse, and other team members</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Coordinate with HVAC, electrical, and other trades when necessary</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Assist leadership with job planning, material needs, and crew coordination</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Support team goals and contribute to a positive, accountable work environment</p>
</li>
</ul>
<h2>What We’re Looking For</h2>
<ul>
<li>
<p>21+ years old with a valid driver’s license and insurable record</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Ability to submit a background check and pre-employment drug screen (including marijuana)</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Strong residential plumbing installation experience</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Apprentice or Journeyman plumbing license: <strong>Required</strong></p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Previous Lead Installer, Foreman, or crew leadership experience: <strong>Preferred</strong></p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and safety standards</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Ability to read plumbing plans, layouts, and specifications</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Strong troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Ability to lead, train, and provide direction to a crew</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Strong communication and customer service skills</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Ability to work independently and make decisions in the field</p>
</li>

<p>Ability to manage time, materials, and job progress effectively</p>

<h2>Experience:</h2>

<p>Plumbing: <strong>3+ years (Required)</strong></p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Plumbing installation: <strong>2+ years (Preferred)</strong></p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Lead/Foreman experience: <strong>1+ year (Preferred)</strong></p>
</li>
</ul>
<h2>License/Certification:</h2>
