This role will assist with month-end close activities, account reconciliations, financial reporting, and other accounting functions. The Staff Accountant will collaborate with team members to ensure the accuracy of financial records while developing a strong understanding of the company’s accounting processes and internal controls. Responsibilities • Code transactions appropriately in general ledger. • Research and resolve discrepancies in accounting transactions. • Prepare journal entries and supporting documentation. • Perform monthly account reconciliations and analysis. • Special program tracking (minimum spend, rebates, etc.). • Support audits and other financial reviews as needed. • Document standard operating procedures for accounting processes. • Identify issues and suggest procedural improvements. • Cross-train on additional accounting responsibilities to provide backup support as needed.
