Job description
<p>The Ramsay Pharmacy Internship Program is designed to equip interns with the foundational knowledge, skills and confidence required to become capable and skilled pharmacists. </p><ul><li>Comprehensive support as you work towards achieving your supervised practice hours, helping you develop your pharmacy knowledge and practical skills. </li><li>Access to weekly tutorials, workbooks, quizzes and exam preparation. </li><li>Guidance and support from trained AHPRA examiners, clinical pharmacist educators, senior staff, preceptors and supervisors. </li><li>Gain valuable insights into avoiding errors, implementing safety nets, reviewing high-risk situations, and exploring ongoing professional development and career pathways. </li></ul><p><strong>Your Role </strong></p><ul><li>Work alongside experienced pharmacists to accurately dispense medications, support medication management and provide medication information to patients. </li><li>Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support seamless patient care and contribute to day-to-day pharmacy operations. </li><li>Maintain compliance with regulations and ethical guidelines while prioritising patient safety and confidentiality. </li></ul><p><strong>What We Offer </strong></p><ul><li>A leading-edge program to support your transition from study to clinical practice, including professional development through the Ramsay Pharmacy Academy </li><li>A hardcopy AMH to support your oral exam preparation, plus access to scholarships, training programs and external courses </li><li>Participation in our Intern of the Year program, with the winner receiving AHPRA registration and SHPA/PSA membership paid for in 2027 </li><li>Opportunities to attend industry conferences and explore career pathways across hospital, community, operations and leadership </li></ul><p><strong>Beleura Private Hospital</strong></p><p>Join the Pharmacy team at <strong>Beleura Private Hospital</strong>, a leading 205-bed hospital with a proud history of caring for our local community since 1969. <p><strong>About You </strong></p><p>We are seeking Interns who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer and patient care in line with Ramsay’s core values. Key attributes include:  </p><ul><li>Strong communication skills and empathy </li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment </li><li>Confidence to make informed decisions and take ownership of your practice </li></ul><p><strong>Eligibility Criteria </strong></p><ul><li>Full working rights in Australia or New Zealand</li><li>Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent qualification (this must be completed before commencing internship) </li><li>Be provisionally registered with AHPRA by early 2027.</li><li>Available for a minimum of 12 months full-time employment</li></ul>
