Job description
We are seeking a SharePoint SME / 3rd Line Technical Specialist to support, maintain and develop our SharePoint estate across on-premises and Microsoft 365 environments. This hands-on role requires proven expertise in SharePoint upgrades, administration and development, with primary responsibility for leading migrations from SharePoint Server 2019 to Subscription Edition. The position is full-time, on-site five days per week, based in Wrocław or Gdańsk.
Responsibilities
• Serve as the 3rd line escalation point for complex SharePoint incidents and requests.
• Lead and manage SharePoint Server 2019 to Subscription Edition (SE) upgrade projects, including planning, testing, execution and post-upgrade validation.
• Operate, support and optimise SharePoint Online within the Microsoft 365 tenant to ensure performance, security and reliability.
• Administer on-premises SharePoint environments and hybrid configurations as required.
• Investigate and resolve integration issues between SharePoint and third-party systems (for example ServiceNow, CRM and HR platforms).
• Design and implement SharePoint solutions and customisations using SharePoint Framework (SPFx) and related client-side technologies.
• Develop and maintain automations and application components using Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) where applicable.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security and business teams to define requirements, run acceptance testing and implement changes with minimal disruption.
• Document architecture, operational procedures and runbooks to support ongoing platform management and knowledge transfer.
Qualifications
• Demonstrable experience with SharePoint Server 2019 and Subscription Edition (SE), including upgrades and migrations.
• Strong practical knowledge of SharePoint Online (Microsoft 365) administration and governance.
• Experience developing with SPFx, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, REST APIs and Microsoft Graph.
• Familiarity with the broader Microsoft 365 stack (OneDrive, Teams, Exchange Online) and hybrid integration patterns is desirable.
• Experience integrating SharePoint with third-party systems and APIs.
• Experience building automations and solutions using Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) is desirable.
• Exposure to AI capabilities such as Microsoft Copilot is an advantage.
• Relevant certifications are preferred, for example:
• Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert (MS-102)
• Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204)
• Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400)
• Azure AI Fundamentals (AI-900)
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and the ability to communicate technical information clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
