ASSOCIATE ANIMAL NUTRITIONIST - POULTRY

<p>The Associate Nutritionist is responsible for providing the formulation required by the Feed Mill plant. Works directly with the Nutritionist in keeping formulations available needed by customers and clients.<br> <br> <strong><u>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</u></strong></p><p>Formulations &amp; Nutrition</p><ol><li><p>Responsible for feed formulations required by customers including internal farm, commercial, and customized formulations.</p></li><li><p>Provide Least cost formulations for customers.</p></li><li><p>Provide formulation costings, and material usage needed by accounting, purchasing &amp; other departments.</p></li><li><p>Ensures the safety and confidentiality of all product formulations by implementing all risk management SOPs guidelines and work instructions applicable.</p></li></ol><p>Research &amp; Development</p><ol><li><p>Responsible for research of new ingredients that can possibly be used in the formulations in collaboration with R&amp;D.</p></li><li><p>Responsible for the implementation of formulations needed by R&amp;D for trial purposes.</p></li><li><p>Responsible for the implementation of new ingredients that will help improve feed cost.</p></li></ol><p>Product Development</p><ol><li><p>Collaborate with Product Category for new product development.</p></li></ol><p>Technical Support</p><ol><li><p>Provide technical support to customers internally and externally as needed.</p></li></ol><p>&#xa0;</p> <p>Education:</p><ul><li><p>Animal Science, specializing in Animal Nutrition.</p></li><li><p>Agriculture (animal science);</p></li><li><p>Animal management;</p></li><li><p>Animal production science;</p></li><li><p>Applied animal science;</p></li></ul><p>Experience:</p><ul><li><p>Not required but experience is an advantage</p></li></ul><p>License/s:&#xa0;</p><ul><li><p>PRC License</p></li></ul><p>Other Requirements:</p><ul><li><p>Working knowledge of animal nutrition and animal physiology</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of animal diseases and symptoms.</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of production performance parameters</p></li><li><p>Appreciation of Feed Sales and Marketing</p></li><li><p>Working knowledge of feed-mill operations and quality assurance.</p><ul><li><p>Familiarity with analyzing data and writing reports;</p></li><li><p>The capability to formulate and communicate ideas;</p></li><li><p>The capacity to form long-term relationships with customers and clients;</p></li><li><p>an appreciation of the interdisciplinary nature of science and the validity of others' viewpoints;</p></li><li><p>Business management, time management, and personal development skills;</p></li><li><p>Advanced numeracy, IT, and internet skills;</p></li><li><p>Driving skills</p></li></ul></li></ul><p>&#xa0;</p> <p><strong>Other Skills required:</strong></p><ul><li>&#xa0;High level proficiency in Microsoft Excel</li><li>Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written(technical/financial) communication skills.</li><li>Knowledge of major aspects of procurement, construction, project control and financial.</li><li>Good communication skills (Verbal and Written)</li></ul><p><strong>Soft Skills:</strong></p><ul><li>Good Management skills (PLOC)</li><li>Highly detail-oriented</li><li>Very good organizational skills</li><li>Very good coordination skills</li></ul>
