Job description

<ul><li>Translate technical documents from Japanese to English and vice versa<ul><li>Translate technical specifications, user manuals, software documentation, and other project-related documents from Japanese to English and vice-versa.</li><li>Ensure accuracy, linguistic quality, and consistency across all translated materials.</li><li>Maintain technical accuracy and appropriate terminology by utilizing glossaries, style guides, and translation memory tools.</li><li>Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and technical writers to clarify technical concepts and terminology.</li><li>Perform quality assurance reviews and proofreading of translated content.</li></ul></li><li>Real-time Interpretation experience is highly preferred.</li><li>Import the content of specification in various formats (word, excel, pdf, matrix...) into Doors system, manage version, set attribute and layout as per customer requirement.</li><li>Be in charge of other activities such as system configuration management, baseline copy, tracking report...</li><li>Other tasks as assigned</li></ul>  <ul><li>Language Proficiency: Fluent-level fluency in both spoken and written Japanese and English (JLPT N2 or above / IELTS / TOEIC high-advanced score level).</li><li>Experience: Minimum 3 years as a professional translator in a technical environment (software development, IT, or engineering preferred).</li><li>Technical Skills: Proficiency with Translation Memory tools (e.g., Trados, MemoQ, Memsource), terminology management systems, and MS Office applications.</li><li>Core Competencies: Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and capacity to quickly master new technical concepts and terminology.</li><li>Education: Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Translation, or related technical field preferred.
