Job Title: Radiology Registrar
Department: Radiology
SHORT DESCRIPTION

JOB SUMMARY :
A Radiology Registrar is responsible for performing, interpreting, and reporting assigned radiological examinations using the PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) . The role includes ensuring timely and accurate reporting, providing safe patient care during procedures, and working closely with consultants and multidisciplinary teams.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform and interpret radiological examinations accurately and efficiently.
•
Prepare, review, and approve radiology reports promptly.
•
Manage complex cases and provide appropriate clinical consultation.
•
Provide patient-centered care and ensure patient safety during procedures.
•
Supervise and support junior doctors and residents.
•
Participate in teaching, training, research, and quality-improvement activities.
•
Follow evidence-based practices, hospital policies, and professional standards.
•
Participate in emergency and urgent radiology services.
•
Maintain continuous professional development and stay updated with advances in radiology.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education :
• Graduate from a medical school of good standing.
• Completion of required period of training in Radiology
• MS degree with 2 years of experience.
Professional Experience
• From 2 to 4 years of experience after certification.
• A registered member of the Saudi Board Council is preferable.
Language
• Proficiency in English; additional proficiency in Arabic may be beneficial.
