STORMWATER TECHNICIAN

<p style="margin: 0; text-align: justify">The purpose of this classification is to assist with the implementation and administration of the County’s stormwater management, soil erosion control, and sedimentation control program. Analyze chemical and biological data, and to investigate cases and enforce ordinances pertaining to illicit connections and/or discharge from commercial or industrial sites.</p> <p style="margin: 0; text-align: justify;">High school diploma or GED; supplemented by college level course work or vocational training in soil erosion control and sedimentation control; supplemented by four (4) years previous experience and/or training that includes soil erosion and sedimentation control, stormwater control, construction site inspection, construction plan interpretation, and supervision; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job. Must possess and maintain a valid Georgia driver’s license.</p>
