Job Requirements Job Title: QA Automation Engineer Location: BLR ATC, Bengaluru Years of Experience: 7-10 Years Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) knowledge to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in automating testing processes, particularly with REST and SOAP APIs, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for REST and SOAP APIs. • Collaborate with development teams to understand application architecture and identify testing requirements. • Implement and enhance test automation frameworks to improve testing efficiency. • Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects and areas for improvement. • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality. • Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies. • Document test cases, test results, and defects in a clear and concise manner. • Mentor junior QA team members on best practices in automation and testing. Mandatory Skills: • Strong knowledge of SDET principles and practices. • Proficiency in automating REST and SOAP API testing. • Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Postman, or similar. • Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies. Preferred Skills: • Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner. • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI. • Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#. • Experience in working with cloud-based testing environments. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. • 7-10 years of experience in QA automation with a focus on API testing. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
