TEAM LEADER / TECHNICIAN / SUPERVISOR (AFTERNOON SHIFT)

<p><strong>What you'll be doing</strong></p><p>This isn't a role where you'll spend your day behind a desk. You'll be out on the production floor, supporting your team and helping keep our plant operating at its best.</p><p>You'll:</p><ul><li>Lead and develop a team of 14-16 production staff.</li><li>Manage staffing, workflow and daily production priorities.</li><li>Coach and develop team members while creating a positive team culture.</li><li>Make practical decisions to keep production running safely and efficiently.</li><li>Work with the engineer and external parties to troubleshoot production issues and minimise downtime</li><li>Drive continuous improvement across safety, quality and productivity.</li></ul> <p><strong>About You</strong></p><p>We're far more interested in your technical capability than years of supervision experience.</p><p>You might currently be working as a:</p><ul><li>Maintenance Engineer</li><li>Mechanical Fitter</li><li>Fitter &amp; Turner</li><li>Production Engineer</li><li>Senior Machine Operator</li><li>Leading Hand</li><li>Manufacturing Technician</li></ul><p>and be ready to take the next step into leadership.</p><p>You'll ideally bring:</p><ul><li>Hands-on manufacturing experience, with confidence working around machinery and identifying and resolving equipment issues.</li><li>The confidence to make practical decisions in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>A practical, hands-on approach to solving day-to-day challenges.</li><li>The ability to lead by example and build positive working relationships with your team.</li><li>Clear communication skills and a willingness to support and develop others.</li></ul> <p><strong>Why Timpack?</strong></p><p>At Timpack we're investing in automation and improving the way we work.
