<p><strong>GENERAL SUMMARY:</strong></p><p><em><strong>Eligible for $1000 SIGN-ON BONUS</strong></em><strong>&#xa0;– Join Our Team as a Clinical Tech at Henry Ford Jackson Hospital!</strong></p><p>&#xa0;</p><p><strong>Department: Medical ICU</strong></p><p><strong>Location:&#xa0;</strong>Henry Ford Jackson Hospital, 205 N East Ave., Jackson, MI 49201</p><p><strong>Schedule: 24</strong>&#xa0;hours per week, every other weekend and holiday rotation</p><p><strong>Shift:&#xa0;</strong>7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (2x12 hours shifts)</p><p>&#xa0;</p><p>Are you passionate about patient care and looking to grow in a dynamic, supportive healthcare environment? As a&#xa0;<strong>Clinical Tech</strong>, you’ll play a hands-on role in delivering high-quality, compassionate care under the guidance of our dedicated nursing staff and physicians. Whether you’re taking vitals, assisting with procedures, or simply ensuring comfort, you'll be a vital part of the patient journey.</p><p><strong>Medical Universal Bed Unit – 22 bed unit</strong></p><p>•&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;Mixed acuity unit specializing in medical intensive care through discharge</p><p>•&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;Growth opportunities for all levels of nursing</p><p>•&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;Strong patient advocates</p><p>•&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;Subject matter experts and a resource for the entire hospital – code team, rapid response team</p><p>•&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;High engagement with team camaraderie</p><p>&#xa0;</p><p><strong>WHAT YOU’LL DO:</strong><br> Your day-to-day impact includes:</p><p>·Collecting and recording essential patient data – vitals, food and fluid intake/output, and more – with precision and care.</p><p>·Responding to patient needs and partnering with RNs to ensure maximum comfort and safety.</p><p>·Noticing the little changes that can make a big difference – and reporting them promptly.</p><p>·Supporting mobility by helping patients ambulate and get where they need to go.</p><p>·Assisting with oxygen devices under RN direction and applying slings post-pacemaker procedures.</p><p>·Performing clinical tasks such as Foley catheter insertion, bladder scans, enemas, blood glucose checks, and documenting results.</p><p>·Providing help with daily activities, like dressing, meals, and hygiene.</p><p>·Supporting RNs during equipment use and bedside procedures.</p><p>·Delivering culturally sensitive care to a wide range of patients — from pediatrics to geriatrics.</p><p>·Promoting positive experiences for patients and their families through kind, respectful interaction.</p><p>·Performing phlebotomy and IV access procedures with confidence and care.</p><p>&#xa0;</p> <p><strong>EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:</strong><br> To qualify, you’ll need a high school diploma or equivalent and one of the following:</p><ul><li>Current nursing student who has minimally completed two semesters or has graduated from a Registered Nurse program</li><li>Graduate of an LPN, EMT, Paramedic, or Medical Assistant program</li><li>Certified in Phlebotomy</li><li>Previous Clinical Tech experience</li></ul><p>Also required:</p><ul><li>Strong communication and problem-solving skills</li><li>Ability to tailor care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations</li><li>Experience in an acute care setting (preferred, not required)</li></ul><p><strong>CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:</strong></p><ul><li>Valid BLS certification (or must be obtained during Patient Care Orientation)</li></ul><p>&#xa0;</p>
