<p>Nurse Assistant - Extended Care - Home Health Care (West Bloomfield Area) – Contingent</p><ul><li>Eligible Benefits: 403B – Matching Contributions made by Henry Ford Health</li><li>Shift: Set your Own Schedule</li></ul><p>Private duty services may be arranged for patients who need extended care, from a few hours a week to round-the-clock-care. Typically, this is paid for privately, or through specialized, long-term care policies.</p><p>We tailor our services to fit the specific needs of our clients in Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb counties. Flexible scheduling allows us to provide short-term or long-term care to clients in the home or facility setting, as well as specialized care for students in their schools.</p><p>**GENERAL SUMMARY:**</p><p>Ready to make a real difference in patients' lives? As a Nurse Assistant in our Extended Care Home Health program, you'll work alongside our Registered Nurse team to deliver compassionate, personalized care that keeps our clients comfortable, safe, and supported. <p><strong><u>EDUCATION REQUIRED: </u></strong></p><ul><li>High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required. </li></ul><p><strong><u>ASSESSMENTS REQUIRED:</u></strong></p><ul><li>Requires ability to pass a written Home Health Aide competency test with score of 90% or above.</li><li>Requires ability to pass the HHA Skills Assessment Competency Evaluation. </li></ul><p><strong><u>CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED: </u></strong></p><ul><li>CNA or</li><li>Certification as a Home Care Aide (HCA) preferred, or </li><li>Completion of a Nurse Assistant program (titles for similar programs may vary; e.g. Patient Care Technician (PCT) or Patient Assistant Technician (PAT) but perform the same job role), OR</li><li>May be currently enrolled in a nursing program and have successfully completed the Fundamentals of Nursing course, OR</li><li>Foreign trained and licensed RN who has relocated to the United States and does not hold a Michigan RN license, OR</li><li>Medical Assistant program with OR without experience. </li></ul><p><strong><u>LICENSURES REQUIRED:</u></strong></p><ul><li>Complete BLS Heart Saver Certification during orientation.</li><li>Must possess a current driver's license and a satisfactory driving record to travel to and from various Home Health Care locations.</li></ul>
