Typically, this is paid for privately, or through specialized, long-term care policies.</p><p>We tailor our services to fit the specific needs of our clients in Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb counties. Flexible scheduling allows us to provide short-term or long-term care to clients in the home or facility setting, as well as specialized care for students in their schools.</p><p>**GENERAL SUMMARY:**</p><p>Ready to make a real difference in patients' lives? Embrace opportunities to expand your skills and stay current in home health care</li><li>**Embody Our Values** – Bring the Henry Ford Health Team Member Standards of Excellence to every patient interaction, every single day</li></ul> <p><strong><u>EDUCATION REQUIRED:&#xa0;</u></strong></p><ul><li>High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.&#xa0;</li></ul><p><strong><u>ASSESSMENTS REQUIRED:</u></strong></p><ul><li>Requires ability to pass a written Home Health Aide competency test with score of 90% or above.</li><li>Requires ability to pass the HHA Skills Assessment Competency Evaluation.&#xa0;</li></ul><p><strong><u>CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED:&#xa0;</u></strong></p><ul><li>CNA or</li><li>Certification as a Home Care Aide (HCA) preferred, or&#xa0;</li><li>Completion of a Nurse Assistant program (titles for similar programs may vary; e.g. Patient Care Technician (PCT) or Patient Assistant Technician (PAT) but perform the same job role), OR</li><li>May be currently enrolled in a nursing program and have successfully completed the Fundamentals of Nursing course, OR</li><li>Foreign trained and licensed RN who has relocated to the United States and does not hold a Michigan RN license, OR</li><li>Medical Assistant program with OR without experience.&#xa0;</li></ul><p><strong><u>LICENSURES REQUIRED:</u></strong></p><ul><li>Complete BLS Heart Saver Certification during orientation.</li><li>Must possess a current driver's license and a satisfactory driving record to travel to and from various Home Health Care locations.</li></ul>
