CT TECHNOLOGIST

<p>Shift: Days&#xa0;</p><p>GENERAL SUMMARY:</p><p>Under general supervision, specializes in the performance of computerized tomographic radiological procedures on patients. May perform general diagnostic radiology examinations. Performs related duties as required.</p> <p>EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:</p><p>High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.</p><p>Must maintain the required hours of continued education. Healthcare Provider certification required. (BCLS)</p><p>BLS Provider obtained within one (1) month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.</p><p>CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:</p><p>One or more of the following:</p><p>Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.</p><p>NMTCB (CD Computed Tomography Specialty Certification or ARRT(CT) Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography required in addition to CNMT Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification.</p><p>Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.</p><p>Must be registered in Computer Tomography within 12 months of date of hire.</p><p>Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.</p><p>Nuclear Medicine or Radiation Therapy specialty also accepted.</p>
