This role requires the ability to deliver comprehensive nursing interventions in varied clinical settings, with particular emphasis on proactive patient assessment and early identification of clinical changes. The successful candidate will synthesize patient data to anticipate care needs and implement evidence-based nursing interventions before significant changes in patient condition occur.</p><p><strong>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p><p>&#xa0;</p><ul><li>Deliver direct patient care across multiple medical and surgical units, adapting nursing practices to diverse patient populations and clinical scenarios</li><li>Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and identify potential complications through clinical observation and analysis of patient-specific data</li><li>Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based nursing care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary healthcare team</li><li>Provide professional nursing services across a broad spectrum of clinical situations and patient acuity levels</li><li>Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, families, and hospital personnel to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care</li><li>Maintain flexibility and willingness to float to multiple facility locations to meet organizational staffing needs</li></ul><p>&#xa0;</p> <p><strong>EDUCATION REQUIRED:</strong></p><ul><li>Graduation from an accredited school of nursing</li><li>Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred</li></ul><p><strong>EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:</strong></p><ul><li>Two to three (2-3) years of recent clinical nursing experience in medical and surgical settings</li><li>Demonstrated ability to manage complex patient care across diverse clinical environments</li><li>Willingness and ability to float to multiple facility locations</li></ul><p><strong>SKILLS &amp; COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:</strong></p><ul><li>Advanced clinical competency in patient assessment and care planning</li><li>Ability to synthesize patient data and anticipate care needs</li><li>Proficiency in developing and implementing evidence-based nursing interventions</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills with patients, families, and healthcare team members</li><li>Ability to adapt nursing practices to diverse patient populations and clinical scenarios</li><li>Flexibility and adaptability in dynamic healthcare settings</li></ul><p><strong>CERTIFICATIONS &amp; LICENSURES REQUIRED:</strong></p><ul><li>Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing</li><li>Current BLS certification</li><li>Current TB screening and required vaccinations (including flu)</li></ul>
