Job description
<p><strong>Shift: </strong>Variable </p><p><strong>Status: </strong>40 hours per week </p><p>Ready to make an impact in a fast-paced lab environment? Here's what you'll be doing:</p><ul><li><strong>Keep things moving:</strong> Handle order entry, specimen and material pick-up, transportation, and tracking with precision and a positive attitude</li><li><strong>Process like a pro:</strong> Receive and process specimens and materials according to established procedures—you'll become a master of the workflow!</li><li><strong>Tech it up: </strong>Navigate various information systems to keep everything organized and running smoothly</li><li><strong>Equipment expert:</strong> Operate and maintain pre and post analytic laboratory equipment and automation systems—we'll make sure you're trained and confident</li><li><strong>Go the extra mile: </strong>Perform occasional phlebotomy services when needed at your site (if applicable to your position)</li><li><strong>Be the friendly face:</strong> Interact with patients, laboratory staff, and caregivers with genuine courtesy and professionalism—your positive energy matters!</li></ul><p>All of this happens under regular supervision and according to established procedures, so you'll have the support and guidance you need to succeed.</p>
<p><u><strong>EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:</strong></u></p><ul><li>High school graduate or equivalent required.</li><li>Strong computer skills; Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.</li><li>Experience in a medical setting, hospital or clinic laboratory preferred. Familiarity with medical terminology and human anatomy preferred.</li><li>Candidate with college-level course work in science preferred.</li><li>Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and demonstrate exceptional customer service skills required.</li></ul>
