<p>AECOM Technical Services, Inc. is seeking an Urban Designer in New York, NY.</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><ul><li>Lead urban design and public realm planning for transportation and infrastructure projects including streetscapes, transit corridors, waterfront resiliency improvements, and multimodal public spaces</li><li>Produce technical urban design drawings including site plans, sections, grading concepts, streetscape layouts, and spatial design diagrams for planning and construction coordination</li><li>Manage project staffing, internal coordination, and resource planning</li><li>Contribute to business development efforts including proposal development and client presentations</li><li>Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to integrate civil, structural, transportation, and environmental systems into viable design solutions</li><li>Prepare presentation materials, design reports, and planning documentation for clients, agencies, and regulatory review processes</li><li>Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week</li></ul> <p>Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Urban Design, Architecture, or a related field of study and&#xa0;4 years of experience as an Urban Designer, Architectural Designer, or in a related occupation.</p><p>Alternatively, the employer will accept a Master's degree in Urban Design, Architecture, or a related field of study and 2 years of experience as an Urban Designer, Architectural Designer, or in a related occupation.</p><p>Position requires experience in the following:</p><ol><li>Urban design and master planning</li><li>Public realm and streetscape design</li><li>Site planning</li><li>Technical drawing and design documentation</li><li>3D modeling and visualization</li><li>AutoCAD</li><li>Rhino</li><li>SketchUp</li><li>GIS</li><li>Adobe Creative Suite</li><li>MS Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word</li></ol> <p>All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.</p><p><strong>THIS POSTING IS FOR A CURRENT VACANCY, AND </strong><strong>AECOM INTENDS TO FILL THIS POSITION BY NOVEMBER 25, 2026.</strong></p><div sr-tagline=""></div><p>At AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously. <strong><em>To support this commitment, all newly hired employees are required to attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location as a condition of employment.</em></strong></p><p>&#xa0;</p><p><strong>About AECOM</strong>&#xa0;</p><p>AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
