Job description
<p>Join our team as a Delivery Driver in Crawfordville! We're looking for a reliable, customer-focused professional to deliver products efficiently and safely within our designated service area. If you're organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences, we want to hear from you!</p><ul><li>Deliver products safely and efficiently within the designated Crawfordville delivery area, making multiple deliveries per shift</li><li>Navigate to customer locations using maps, GPS technology, and strong directional skills, including multi-story buildings and challenging terrain</li><li>Operate delivery vehicle in compliance with all traffic laws and company safety standards</li><li>Receive and process customer orders accurately, both over the phone and in person</li><li>Handle cash transactions, calculate correct change, and process payments with precision</li><li>Communicate professionally and courteously with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns</li><li>Stock and organize inventory from delivery vehicles to storage areas and work stations</li><li>Maintain accurate delivery records and complete all required paperwork and documentation</li><li>Collaborate with team members to support in-store operations when needed</li><li>Adhere to all company policies, safety protocols, and quality control standards</li></ul>
<p>**Required Qualifications:**</p><ul><li>Valid driver's license with a safe driving record meeting company standards</li><li>Reliable vehicle in good working condition for deliveries</li><li>Proof of current vehicle insurance</li><li>Strong navigational skills and ability to read maps and locate addresses accurately</li><li>Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and positive attitude</li><li>Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing</li><li>Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)</li><li>Proficiency with computer systems or touch screen technology</li><li>Strong motor coordination and hand-eye coordination</li><li>Ability to work independently and manage time effectively</li><li>Physical stamina to perform lifting, carrying, and standing tasks throughout shifts</li><li>Punctuality and reliability in meeting delivery schedules</li><li>Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed</li></ul><p>**Preferred Qualifications:**</p><ul><li>Previous delivery or customer service experience</li><li>Knowledge of the Crawfordville area</li><li>Experience with GPS and navigation technology</li><li>Problem-solving abilities and resilience in handling challenging situations</li><li>Awareness of vehicle maintenance and safety protocols</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment</li></ul>
<p>Climbing<br>
· Team members must infrequently navigate stairs or climb a ladder to change prices on signs, wash walls, perform maintenance<br>
Stooping/Bending<br>
· Forward bending at the waist is necessary at the pizza assembly station<br>
· Toe room is present, but workers are unable to flex their knees while standing at this station<br>
· Duration of this position is approximately 30 - 45 seconds at one time, repeated continuously during the day<br>
· Forward bending is also present at the front counter and when stocking ingredients<br>
Crouching/Squatting<br>
· Performed occasionally to stock shelves and to clean low areas<br>
Reaching<br>
· Reaching is performed continuously; up, down and forward<br>
Hand Tasks<br>
· Eye-hand coordination is essential; use of hands is continuous during the day<br>
· Frequently activities require use of one or both hands<br>
· Shaping pizza dough requires frequent and forceful use of forearms and wrists</p>
