Schedule based on practice needs Monday-Friday between 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM. Most shifts will be 8:00 AM-4:30 PM or 8:00 AM-5:00 PM.</li><li>Duties: Primarily a clinical MA role, with cross-training and support for front desk duties as needed.</li><li>Home Location: 5th Street Station serves as the home office, but the role will float to all designated practices as needed.</li><li>Flexibility: Must be willing to float between practices as needed based on staffing demands.</li><li>Coverage Area: Supports 10 Primary Care practices across the Charlottesville/Waynesboro market.</li></ul>OverviewThe Medical Assistant performs patient care and administrative and clerical related tasks and procedures based on training, education, and competency evaluations, and as delegated by and under the direction/supervision of the Physician, Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant (NP/PA), Registered Nurse (RN), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).Click <a href="https://youtu.be/6t_LBsgei6Mto" target="_blank">https://youtu.be/6t_LBsgei6Mto(Opens in a new tab)</a> hear Tischia tell us about a day in the life of a Medical Assistant with Sentara Healthcare.
