FINANCE & ACCOUNTING MANAGER

<p>Seeking a strong Finance resource to lead the accounting function and provide financial oversight across AP, AR, general ledger, month-end close, reporting, controls, and team leadership.</p><p>This is a higher-level leadership role ideal for a hands-on, strategic accounting professional with strong technical accounting knowledge, construction or project-based accounting experience, and the ability to lead a growing accounting team in a fast-paced global environment.</p><ul><li>Lead and manage the full accounting cycle, including AP, AR, general ledger, payroll-related accounting, reconciliations, accruals, and month-end close.</li><li>Manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with GAAP.</li><li>Manage and develop an accounting team, including direct oversight of AP, AR, staff/senior accountants, and accounting leadership.</li><li>Prepare, review, and present financial statements, management reports, variance analyses, and key financial metrics.</li><li>Provide accurate accounting information and analysis to support Finance leadership.</li><li>Maintain and improve internal controls, accounting policies, procedures, and workflow efficiencies.</li><li>Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial planning initiatives.</li><li>Assist with managing audit preparation, tax support, compliance reporting, and coordination with external advisors.</li><li>Partner with operational teams to reinforce accounting policies, documentation standards, cut-off requirements, and other accounting best practices.</li><li>Own resolution of accounting and close-related issues, independently researching discrepancies, identifying root causes, and developing recommended solutions before escalation.</li><li>Establish clear ownership, standardized processes, close calendars, reconciliation standards, and accountability across the accounting function.</li></ul> <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field required.</li><li>CPA strongly preferred</li><li>8–12+ years of progressive accounting experience required.</li><li>Prior Controller, Assistant Controller, or senior accounting leadership experience required.</li><li>Experience managing an accounting team required.</li><li>Strong experience with month-end close, financial reporting, AP, AR, general ledger, internal controls, and audit support.</li><li>Commercial construction, construction services, project-based accounting, or global company experience strongly preferred.</li><li>Strong understanding of GAAP, revenue recognition, job costing, WIP reporting, and cost controls.</li><li>Advanced Excel skills and strong ERP/accounting system experience.</li><li>Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.</li></ul> <ul><li><strong>Safety and Securit</strong>y<strong>:</strong> Observes safety and security procedures, uses equipment and materials properly.
