Job description
<p>We are looking for an <strong>EMEA Trade Terms Specialist</strong> to play a key role in the implementation and governance of Trade Terms across the EMEA region.</p><p>As the central link between Trade Terms strategy and commercial teams, you will ensure the effective deployment of commercial frameworks across countries and channels, with a direct impact on operational excellence, SOX compliance, margin protection, and the successful delivery of seasonal sell-in tools.</p><p>In this highly collaborative role, you will work closely with Sales, Finance, Merchandising and Customer Service teams to translate strategic guidelines into actionable processes and drive consistent execution across the region.</p><p><br>
<strong>Your Main Missions: </strong></p><p><strong>Implementation of trade terms in all EMEA countries and channels every season </strong></p><p>• Under supervision from her/his manager, together with country and channel leaders, translate trade term guidelines into localized rules: convert all trade terms building block in country relevant discounts, implement seasonal key initiatives and calculate key customer budgets for each salesperson.  <br>
• With the support of his/her manager, ensure the implementation of Trade Terms framework for all international and national strategic accounts.  <br>
• Support his/her manager in all trade terms governance process.  <br>
• Translate MOV guidelines into applicable MOV for each product category, customer type and country.  <br>
• Collect specific terms or packages requests from merchandising or salespersons, verify compliance with guidelines and organize approval by sales management.  <br>
• Proactively inform and alert EMEA Management on major risks, deviations and/or wrong interpretation of guidelines.  <br>
• Document seasonal trade term rules for each product category, country, channel and customer. <br>
• Produce training materials to secure understanding and correct use of trade terms and MOV.  </p><p><strong>Controls and SOX compliance </strong></p><p>• Each season perform SOX compliance activities related to trade terms.  <br>
• Periodically execute compliance controls for use of trade terms building blocks and package application rules.  <br>
• Each season track and report noncompliance to MOV rules.  <br>
• Proactively alert salespersons direct manager of any deviance from trade terms and/or MOV rules.  <br>
• Measure deviance from guidelines and report any business and margin risk due to incorrect use of discounts. </p>
<ul><li><strong>1 to 3 years of experience </strong>in Sales Operations, Commercial Finance, Business Analytics, Controlling, Sales Support, or similar functions. </li><li>A first experience in commercial and/or finance-related environments is highly valued; a solid finance background is strongly preferred. </li><li>Strong process management capabilities with the ability to translate guidelines into structured, executable processes. </li><li>Solid understanding of end-to-end seasonal commercial processes and sales operations, ideally within a B2B environment. </li><li>Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. </li><li>Experience with process tracking and reporting tools, dashboards, and project management tools. </li><li>Knowledge of project management and change management methodologies. </li><li>Ability to identify operational risks, anticipate potential issues, and support mitigation plans. </li><li>Experience working with governance frameworks or compliance-related activities is a plus. </li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to provide actionable recommendations.</li><li>Excellent coordination, organization, and prioritization capabilities. </li><li>Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across functions and levels of the organization. </li><li>Proactive, solution-oriented, and detail-oriented approach with the ability to perform effectively under time-sensitive deadlines. </li><li>Knowledge of SAP or other order management/business systems is a plus. </li><li><strong>Fluent English required</strong>; French is a strong advantage, and an additional language is a plus.<em>.</em></li></ul>
