Role: Night Concierge
Reports to: Hospitality Manager
Working hours: 7pm to midnight
Employment Type: Part-time 20 hours

Purpose of the Role

As Night concierge, you will play a
vital role in creating a positive first impression of our home. You will
provide a professional and friendly welcome to members, families, visitors, care
professionals, and suppliers while supporting the smooth day-to-day
administration of the home. The
ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, exceptional
customer service standards, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy
environment while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

Responsibilities and Contribution
• Assisting with front of house duties including
arrivals, departures and billing, ensuring an elegant and professional
welcome at all times.
• Answer and direct telephone calls
promptly and efficiently.
• Manage visitor sign-in procedures
and maintain security protocols.
• Maintain a professional and
immaculate reception area at all times.
• Support hospitality in the
reception area.
• Support wider events, celebrations and family
visits in collaboration with the Lifestyle and Hospitality teams.
• Manage incoming and outgoing mail,
parcels, and deliveries.
• Support the hospitality management
team with administrative tasks, data entry, filing, and document
preparation.
• Order and monitor office supplies
and reception materials.
• Assist with maintaining electronic
and paper-based records
• Communicate messages accurately
and promptly to relevant departments.
• Adhere to GDPR and confidentiality
requirements at all times.
• Follow all health and safety,
safeguarding, and security procedures.
• Ensure visitor and contractor
records are maintained in accordance with company policies. Assist with the collection and clearing of
meal trays from member rooms and
communal dining areas, ensuring a clean, safe, and hygienic environment at all
times.
• Prepare hospitality requirements for the
following day, including setting up dining areas, organising equipment,
arranging refreshments, and ensuring all supplies are stocked and readily
available.
• Assist
in the preparation and presentation of hospitality services for meetings,
events, functions, and resident activities, ensuring a high standard of
customer service.
• Ensure all hospitality areas are clean,
organised, and appropriately prepared to meet operational requirements and
enhance the dining experience.
Eligibility
In line with the requirements of the Asylum & Immigration Act 1996, all applicants must either be eligible to live and work in the UK or must obtain permits to work in the UK prior to application. Documented evidence of eligibility will be required from candidates as part of the recruitment process.
