Portuguese-Speaking Nail Technician – Cruise Ship We are looking for a skilled and professional Portuguese-speaking Nail Technician to join an onboard cruise ship spa team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality nail services while creating a welcoming and relaxing experience for international guests. Key Responsibilities • Perform professional manicures and pedicures to a high standard. • Provide gel, acrylic, extensions, and other nail services. • Consult with guests to understand their preferences and recommend suitable treatments. • Maintain excellent hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards. • Keep nail stations, equipment, and tools clean and organized. • Use professional techniques and products while prioritizing guest comfort and nail health. • Promote spa treatments and suitable nail products to guests. • Manage appointments efficiently and provide excellent customer service. • Handle guest questions and concerns professionally. • Work effectively with the wider spa team in a busy, multicultural environment. • Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude throughout the contract. • Bring and maintain your own specialist nail tools required for services. Requirements • Fluency in Portuguese and English . • Recognized Nail Technician qualification/certificate . • Previous cruise ship spa experience is an advantage . • Experience with manicures, pedicures, gel, acrylic, and other professional nail services. • Strong customer service and communication skills. • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. • Excellent organization and attention to detail. • Professional, well-groomed appearance. • Own specialist nail tools are required. • Ability to work with guests and colleagues from different cultures. Mandatory Documentation Candidates must have the required documentation, including a valid passport, applicable visas, Seaman's Book, STCW certificates, valid medical certificate, vaccination records including Yellow Fever, full resume and references, and a recent full-length photo.
