<p><strong>Director of Annual Giving</strong></p><p><strong>$82,300 - $90,000 / annually (+Bonus Potential)</strong></p><p><strong>Christian Living Communities</strong></p><p>About the Role</p><p>Are you a storyteller who loves connecting people to a mission? Christian Living Communities is looking for a Director of Annual Giving to lead our fundraising efforts and build lasting relationships with donors who make our work possible.</p><p>You'll craft compelling appeals, manage donor data, and design strategies that grow giving year over year — all while working closely with our Communications, Philanthropy, and Finance teams.</p><p>What You'll Do</p><ul><li><strong>Lead fundraising strategy</strong> — Build and run our annual giving plan, set goals, and manage a calendar of appeals, campaigns, and events across mail, email, digital, and social channels</li><li><strong>Write compelling content</strong> — Create donor-centered appeals, newsletters, acknowledgements, and event materials that tell our story and inspire giving</li><li><strong>Own donor data</strong> — Oversee the donor database and gift processing, ensuring records are accurate and financials reconcile with our Finance team</li><li><strong>Turn data into strategy</strong> — Analyze giving trends, retention, and campaign performance to sharpen future fundraising decisions</li><li><strong>Run events &amp; grants</strong> — Plan fundraising events from budget to execution, and help manage our grant strategy and submissions</li><li><strong>Build relationships</strong> — Spend time in our communities getting to know residents, families, and team members</li></ul><p>What We're Looking For</p><ul><li>Strong writer and communicator who can craft a compelling case for support</li><li>Experience with donor databases, gift processing, and fundraising analytics</li><li>A strategic thinker who's comfortable turning data into action</li><li>Someone who thrives working across teams (Philanthropy, Marketing, Finance, and community leaders)</li><li>Event planning and grant-writing experience is a plus</li></ul><p>Why This Role</p><p>This is a chance to lead a growing annual giving program with real impact — helping fund the mission of Christian Living Communities while building genuine, lasting relationships with the donors who make it possible.</p>

<p><strong>Basic Qualifications &amp; Experience</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in communications, nonprofit management, philanthropy, public relations, marketing, business or a related field required.</li><li>Minimum of three years of experience in annual giving, fundraising, donor relations, nonprofit development or a related field preferred.</li><li>Demonstrated knowledge of annual giving best practices, including donor acquisition, retention, stewardship, segmentation, appeals, campaigns and fundraising events.</li><li>Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated ability to create persuasive, audience-focused fundraising and donor communications.</li><li>Strong fundraising database experience required; experience with Bloomerang or a comparable donor CRM preferred.</li><li>Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with a commitment to database accuracy and data integrity.</li><li>Proficiency with spreadsheets and other tools used to organize, analyze, and report fundraising and financial information.</li><li>Strong project-management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, communications, events, and deadlines simultaneously.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to set goals, measure results and adjust strategies based on performance and data.</li><li>Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with donors, residents, families, team members, organizational leaders, and community partners.</li><li>Fundraising event planning and coordination experience preferred.</li><li>Ability to work both strategically and hands-on in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.</li><li>Must be able to read, write, and speak English.</li></ul><p>&#xa0;</p><p><strong>Working Conditions / Physical Requirements </strong></p><ul><li>Sits, stands, bends, and moves intermittently during working hours.</li><li>Lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 25 pounds intermittently.</li><li>Must possess a Colorado driver’s license in good standing. Job will require frequent travel in the Denver metro area and infrequently to other communities in Colorado.</li><li>Work requires handling multiple projects and events simultaneously, prioritizing tasks.</li><li>Frequently interacts with relevant stakeholders including team members, donors, vendors, mission partners, residents, and family members.</li></ul>
