Registered Nurse Manager - Emergency Services

Full-Time NIGHTS

Registered Nurse Manager candidates for the Emergency Services Department will have the following job responsibilities:

• The Manager ensures high quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the overall daily function and staffing of the unit/department. • The Manager monitors and evaluates the provision of nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures and holds staff accountable for quality and clinical outcomes in support of facility objectives.

Registered Nurse Manager candidates for the Emergency Services Department must meet the following minimum job qualifications:

• 2-3 years of Recent Acute Care ER Manager, Supervisor experience (Charge nurse experience will not qualify) • Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date • Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date • PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date • Trauma Nursing Core Course must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date • Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation • Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma required; BSN preferred
