Job Title: CNC VTL Machinist
Industry: Aerospace Location: East Singapore Working Hours: 5 days per week Basic Salary: S$3,500 – S$4,000 Gross Salary: Up to S$5,000
Job Responsibilities
• Operate CNC Vertical Turning Lathe (VTL) machines to manufacture precision components. • Set up and operate CNC VTL machines according to engineering drawings and work instructions. • Read and interpret technical drawings, dimensions, and machining specifications. • Perform machine setup, tool setting, and workpiece alignment. • Monitor machining processes and make necessary adjustments to ensure product quality. • Conduct dimensional inspections using measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges. • Troubleshoot basic machining and tooling issues. • Ensure all finished components meet required quality and aerospace standards. • Maintain proper housekeeping and follow workplace safety procedures. • Complete production records and documentation as required.
Requirements
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience operating CNC VTL or CNC turning machines. • Experience in precision engineering or aerospace manufacturing is preferred. • Able to read and understand technical drawings. • Familiar with CNC machine setup, tooling, and cutting parameters. • Able to use precision measuring instruments. • Good understanding of machining processes and quality requirements. • Willing to work in the East of Singapore. • Candidates with strong CNC turning experience and relevant VTL experience are encouraged to apply.
