What is a ghost job?

A ghost job is an advertised vacancy that an employer is not actively trying to fill. You cannot reliably identify one from its age alone. Our job search filters use posting age and repeated publication as signals to help you avoid potentially stale listings.

Can I find jobs with salary listed?

Yes. Turn on ‘Only jobs with salary info’ to show vacancies with employer-provided salary information. A salary range is not a guaranteed offer: check the currency, pay period and role requirements in each listing.

Can I find jobs posted today?

Use the posting-date filter in your job search to focus on recent vacancies. Combine it with the reposted-jobs filter if you want to exclude listings we saw before their current posting date. A recent date is useful context, not a guarantee that the employer is still hiring.

Does this guarantee there are no ghost jobs?

No. Age and reposting are signals, not proof that a job is inactive. A genuine opening can stay available for months, and a new listing can still be inactive. Our filters help you narrow your search; they cannot verify an employer’s hiring intentions.

Are these filters switched on automatically?

You choose which filters to use when setting up your search or adjusting your job results. You can change them whenever you want to see a wider selection.

Are these jobs also on LinkedIn or Indeed?
