Position Summary This position conducts research by assisting with the collection, entry, and cleaning of data, as well as the production of descriptive results. The research associate will play a key leadership role in piloting the PTA eHealth Spanish data collection and data analysis. The successful candidate will work closely with the principal investigator, community health workers, and the research team on a range of activities, including participant screening and recruitment, data collection, assessments, and manuscript preparation.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform surveys, interviews, observations or uses other methods according to established research protocols. • Collect, process and analyze data. Summarize research and test results. • May assist with study protocol development. • Coordinate the ordering, inventory and maintenance of equipment, instruments and data collection and analysis tools. • Prepare and contributes statistical data and pertinent information for papers, grants and other documents. • Complete required documentation for regulatory agencies. • Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned. • Conduct participant screening, informed consent, recruitment, and scheduling. • Administer research assessments and oversee data collection, entry, and quality control. • Contribute to the development of manuscripts, conference presentations, and grant writing. • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including community health workers and technical developers. • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to ongoing research planning, grant writing, and implementation. • Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social science or related field required. • A minimum of one year related research experience. • Knowledge of research concepts, practices and procedures. • Fluency in both Spanish and English (oral and written). • Experience conducting research assessments and delivering behavioral interventions. • Strong background in autism spectrum disorder and/or developmental disabilities. • Demonstrated experience working with bilingual or Spanish-speaking families. • Excellent organizational, communication, and writing skills. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with academic and community partners.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of culturally responsive practices in research and service delivery. • Experience with IRB protocols and data management platforms (e.g., REDCap, Qualtrics). • Publication record in autism, family intervention, or health disparities.
