The Role
Want to have an internship where you actually gain hands-on valuable experience through meaningful project-based work and contribute to something bigger? Our 12-week paid internship offers just that! The CoVolt Power Internship offers many exciting things: the ability to make an impact through meaningful project-based work, a fun & collaborative cohort of fellow interns, opportunities for networking both inside and outside of the organization, scheduled lunch and learns with workstream leaders to learn more about the industry and the business, opportunity to travel to a real project site we are constructing and see up close the work we do, access to leadership, mentorship, community service days, and the final assignment of putting on a companywide presentation at the conclusion of the internship sharing your work, findings, and recommendations to leadership. The internship will start on Monday, June 7th, 2027, and based in the Downtown Houston office.
Houston-based internship opportunities will consist of, but not be limited to, the following departments: Finance, Accounting, Marketing/Communications, Business Development, Project Controls, Human Resources, and Information Technology.
Required Qualifications
• Must be enrolled within a university in either Sophomore, Junior, or going into Senior year with a graduation date no earlier than August 2027 • Computer literacy and proficiency using Microsoft tools, especially Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) • Strong coordination, time management, active listening, verbal and written communication skills, critical thinking, and reasoning skills.
