About this role

Functional testing fundamentals — exploratory, requirement-based, equivalence partitioning, boundary-value analysis, decision tables, BDD authoring. ● BDD frameworks — at least one of Cucumber, SpecFlow / Reqnroll, pytest-bdd, Behave; clean Given/When/Then authoring without leaking implementation. ● API automation — REST and JSON handling at minimum; production hands-on with at least one of RestAssured, Karate, Postman+Newman, Playwright API, pytest + httpx / requests; OpenAPI / Swagger awareness. ● UI automation — production hands-on with at least one of Playwright (preferred), Cypress, Selenium WebDriver / Selenide, WebdriverIO; locator strategy, explicit waits, page-object / screenplay patterns, cross-browser basics. ● Test data management — fixtures, factories, masking basics, Testcontainers (or equivalent ephemeral data stores) is a plus. ● Reporting & test management — Allure / ReportPortal / ExtentReports basics; Jira + Xray / Zephyr / TestRail ticket lifecycle and traceability. ● Awareness of contract testing (Pact), mobile (Appium), accessibility (axe-core / Lighthouse), and non-functional (JMeter / k6) layers — with willingness to grow into them.
