Senior Software Engineer

• DevOps EngineerLocation: PCS CHE, ChennaiYears of Experience: 2-5 YearsJob Summary: We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with 2-5 years of experience in software development and operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps practices, enabling seamless integration and deployment of applications. You will work closely with development and operations teams to enhance our software delivery pipeline and improve system reliability.Responsibilities:Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery processes.Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration of new features and updates.Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.Manage cloud infrastructure and services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) to support application deployment.Enhance security practices within the DevOps lifecycle.Document processes and create runbooks for operational procedures.Mandatory Skills:Proven experience in DevOps practices and tools.Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.).Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).Preferred Skills:Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).Knowledge of configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).Understanding of Agile methodologies and practices.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Relevant certifications in DevOps or cloud technologies are a plus.
