Job Title: Automation Test Engineer (Tier 3)

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Automation Test Engineer (Tier 3) with 3-6 years of experience to join our Digital Assurance practice. The ideal candidate will be an expert in building robust automation frameworks for both web interfaces and backend services, focusing on implementing modern engineering principles to ensure high-speed and high-quality delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications using Selenium WebDriver and Java. • Create and execute automated API test suites using the Rest Assured framework to validate RESTful web services. • Enhance existing automation frameworks (POM, Data-Driven, or BDD) to ensure scalability and maintainability. • Integrate automated scripts into continuous integration and deployment pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub, or Azure DevOps. • Identify, log, and track software defects using Jira, providing detailed root-cause analysis. • Actively participate in sprint ceremonies, including planning and reviews, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong hands-on expertise in Core Java and J2EE development. • Expert-level experience with Selenium WebDriver for functional and regression testing. • Solid experience in testing RESTful services using Rest Assured. • Deep understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), QA methodologies, and the Test Pyramid principle. • Proficiency with testing frameworks like TestNG or Cucumber (BDD). • Experience with build tools like Maven and version control systems like Git/GitHub. • Strong knowledge of SQL and Oracle for database and data testing.

Preferred Skills:

• Basic knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs) and integration with different types of data models. • Fundamental understanding of vector databases. • Familiarity with Agentic AI concepts, design patterns, tools, resources, and Model Context protocol. • Experience leveraging AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate development while adhering to safe AI practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
