Data QA Engineer

We are seeking a Data QA Engineer with 6+ years of experience in Data Engineering QA. The ideal candidate is a collaborative team player who can take ownership of end-to-end test cycles, deliver clear outcomes, and manage defects through closure.

Responsibilities

Develop test strategies, plans, scenarios, cases, and test data.

Test data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, transformations, and large datasets.

Perform data validation, reconciliation, regression, integration, performance, and load testing.

Own test execution, defect management, reporting, and release-readiness recommendations.

Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to resolve quality issues.

Build and maintain reusable automated tests using Python and SQL.

Required Skills

Databricks, Airflow, Python, and advanced SQL

AWS Redshift or similar databases/data warehouses

Test management and test-case development

HP ALM or similar test management tools

GitHub and version control

Performance and load testing

Strong data-analysis, troubleshooting, communication, and ownership skills
