Bookkeeper

Position Overview

We are looking for someone with 5+ years of solid bookkeeping experience in a larger, multi-entity organization . We are not looking for someone whose experience is primarily handling the books of a small business.

The right person should be able to look at a set of books, understand what is happening, identify issues, and know how to tackle them - not someone who simply enters transactions and waits for instructions.

Qualifications & Skills

• 5+ years of strong bookkeeping/accounting experience • Experience working with multiple companies/entities simultaneously • Strong understanding of reconciliations, AP/AR, general ledger, intercompany transactions, month-end close, and financial reporting • Ability to identify discrepancies and independently investigate them • Strong organizational and follow-through skills • Excellent communication skills • A proactive mindset - someone who raises issues, asks the right questions, and takes ownership rather than waiting to be told what to do • Ability to work comfortably in a growing, fast-moving organization
