About this role
Job Description:
Responsible for the accurate handling, accountability, and security of assigned funds while protecting company assets. Perform fills, credits, even-money exchanges, and other cage transactions in accordance with company policies and applicable gaming regulations. Prepare funds for slot machine payouts, complete paid-in and paid-out documentation, cash checks, and redeem chips and tickets. Accurately count and reconcile chips, checks, and currency to balance the assigned bank at the end of each shift.
Job Requirements:
• Process currency exchanges, cash E-tickets, slot payouts, and other cage transactions accurately and efficiently. • Issue employee banks to assigned team members and departments in accordance with established procedures. • Perform fills, credits, even-money exchanges, and other key cage transactions in compliance with gaming regulations and company procedures. • Maintain accurate accountability for all assigned funds and company assets. • Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining accuracy and following established procedures. • Demonstrate strong attention to detail when handling cash, documentation, and financial transactions. • Maintain composure and professionalism in a fast-paced and potentially stressful environment. • Complete all required documentation and records accurately and in a timely manner. • Maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling financial and employee information. • Demonstrate good telephone etiquette and professional communication skills. • Basic knowledge of SDS or Casino Marketplace is preferred. • Respond appropriately and professionally to guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints. • Maintain an open line of communication with Management regarding transactions, discrepancies, concerns, and other operational matters. • Maintain a positive, professional, and courteous demeanor when interacting with guests, team members, vendors, and other individuals. • Follow all company policies, procedures, internal controls, and applicable gaming regulations. • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications Education and Experience:
• Must be at least 21 years of age. • High School Diploma or GED required. • Previous cash-handling experience required. • Working knowledge of Title 31 requirements and the ability to follow applicable gaming regulations, policies, and procedures. • Previous experience in a casino, banking, financial services, or other cash-handling environment preferred. • Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately handle and account for cash and financial transactions.
