About this role
Our client, located in Reading, PA is adding a full time Cabinet Builder position to their team.
What You'll Do
• Build custom cabinetry from architectural and shop drawings • Read, interpret, and accurately follow drawings and specifications • Use carpentry hand tools and shop machinery safely and effectively • Complete assigned jobs on schedule while maintaining quality standards • Work collaboratively with other shop team members • Manage time effectively to meet production deadlines • Maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced shop environment • Support additional tasks as directed by the Supervisor
What You Bring
• Hands-on experience in cabinetry or woodworking • Knowledge of cabinetry construction and shop fabrication processes • Ability to use and maintain carpentry hand tools • Experience working with cabinetry shop equipment • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Strong work ethic and reliability • Team-oriented mindset and willingness to help where needed
Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED required • Ability to perform essential job duties with or without reasonable accommodation
Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently and 75 pounds or more with team lift, multiple times per day • Ability to stand for long periods of time • Ability to work in a loud shop environment • Must be fit for duty and able to problem solve, stay organized, and make sound decisions
