Overview
The Slotting Analyst position is responsible for ensuring the proper flow of goods through the facility, supporting the highest level of fill rate along with maximizing the efficient processing of put away and replenishment within the Distribution Center. This position collaborates with Distribution Center management, Distribution Systems, Inventory Systems and Buying. This is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position.

Responsibilities
• Oversees and ensures that all new products are given a proper forward picking location based on volume/forecasted data prior to store release date • Maintains, monitors and removes discontinued items from forward pick locations • Analyzes product turn to determine best positioning of product throughout the year • Implements picking strategies for all campaigns as required • Utilizes and manages slotting software to optimize product flow within the Distribution Center • In partnership with Distribution Systems evaluates, tests and monitors changes that drive replenishment/put-away (RPA) tasks, creation and priorities through the slotting tool • Operates powered equipment as needed • Stays current with all company initiatives and directives (operations, campaigns, markdowns, new items, logistics, etc.) • Stays current and evaluates all company and store-specific reporting and metrics, applies that knowledge to drive the daily operations and affecting positive change in the Distribution Center. • Monitors shared voicemail and email boxes • Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment • Contributes to a clean and safe Distribution Center • Consistently arrives promptly to work the assigned schedule • Responsible for maintaining discretion related to all confidential/sensitive company and customer information • Performs other requested tasks and duties
