The Opportunity
As a Senior Software Engineer (Backend) - Senior Associate, you will:
• Design and develop APIs, data access layers, and integrations. • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical decision-making. • Collaborate with Product, Architecture, Frontend, and Data teams to deliver high-quality solutions. • Drive best practices in coding, security, and observability across the team.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. • 4 - 6 years of professional experience in backend development. • Expertise in building backend services and APIs using .NET/C# or Python. • Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MongoDB). • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and code reviews. • Working knowledge of Azure Cloud, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes). • Familiarity with messaging and event streaming (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus). • Solid understanding of security fundamentals and observability practices.
Preferred Skills
• Experience with microservices, DDD, CQRS, and event-driven architectures. • Exposure to GraphQL, gRPC, API gateways. • Performance optimization and caching strategies (Redis). • Background in regulated environments or financial services. • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Bicep). • Proven ability to lead distributed teams and drive technical excellence.
