ELECTRICAL INSPECTOR
Location: GLASGOW
Salary & Benefits: £47,000 - £52,000/ Pension / Company Vehicle + Fuel Card / Testing Equipment / Time and 1/2 for unsociable hours.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough EICRs in commercial and industrial settings. • Identify and report defects, safety hazards, and non-compliance issues. • Provide clear, detailed reports with recommendations for corrective actions. • Stay up to date with BS 7671, IET Wiring Regulations, and industry best practices. • Communicate findings effectively with clients and offer expert technical advice. • Ensure safety protocols and company standards are always followed.
Qualifications Required:
• City & Guilds 2391-52 (or equivalent) qualification in Inspection and Testing. • NVQ Level 3 Qualification • IET BS7671:2018 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification. • In-depth knowledge of BS 7671, IET Wiring Regulations, and other relevant standards and codes. • Valid UK driving licence.
