What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and appropriate emergency response activities in a healthcare setting. • Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting appropriate personnel as needed. • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. • Assist with access control by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials as directed, and reporting unauthorized access or suspicious activity. • Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements. • Must be able to work in a hospital morgue. • Must be able to restrain individuals when necessary. • CPR certification is preferred. • Customer service experience is preferred. • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
