As a Security Officer Full Time Entry Control in Ocala, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a retail location, you will help manage entry points, monitor access, and maintain a visible presence that helps deter security-related incidents. You will communicate professionally with customers, employees, and visitors while supporting a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, associates, vendors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location. • Monitor and control access to the location by verifying credentials, screening visitors, maintaining visitor logs, and directing authorized personnel to appropriate areas. • Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed. • Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, exits, receiving areas, sales floors, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. • Maintain clear, professional communication with store leadership and personnel while supporting access-control procedures during deliveries, vendor visits, and high-traffic periods.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
