THE POSITION
We are seeking a hands-on, hard-working, detail-oriented professional to join our team. The Bindery Operator I ensures accuracy and quality of products produced out of the Stitcher/Trimmer and Inserter areas.
JOB DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES
• Set up and calibrate the Stitcher/Trimmer and Inserter • Navigate Stitcher software to make any needed adjustments before and during a run • Cycle the Inserter machine to sync the pockets and feeder sensors • Find and move job files to the correct folder on the Inserter • Set up and calibrate the stacker to ensure neat, square and uniform bundles • Inspect and replace belts and strapping • Utilize Videojet software to import files and change job parameters as necessary • Operate Kyocera, Kodak, and Taba printers • Load and change label rolls on the Inserter • Maintain knowledge of machine coding, error messages, reporting, and machine troubleshooting • Perform Daily, Weekly and Monthly maintenance on the Stitcher/Trimmer and Inserter
