Are you an automotive painter or surface treatment specialist looking for a job where you can work hands-on, learn new skills and develop your expertise?
ABS1 Oy is expanding its production with a new product: fiberglass roof structures for vans. We are now looking for an Automotive Painter / Surface Treatment Specialist to join the team.
You don't need to know everything from day one. If you have a solid foundation in surface treatment and some experience or training in spray painting, you're already off to a good start. Fiberglass lamination will be taught on the job.
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
You will be part of the production of a new product and work with a variety of surface treatment tasks, including:
* cleaning and sanding surfaces * filling and priming * spray painting * fiberglass lamination
Fiberglass lamination may be completely new to you – and that's perfectly fine. You will receive proper training and learn the process hands-on.
Quality matters in this role. Attention to detail, careful working and a good eye for the finished result are important, as your work will have a direct impact on the final product.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a motivated and eager-to-learn professional who wants to develop their skills through practical work.
You have:
* vocational training and a solid foundation in surface treatment * some experience or training in spray painting * a careful and precise approach to your work * a willingness to learn new things * the ability to handle moderately physical work
Previous experience in fiberglass lamination is not required. What matters most is that you have the basics of surface treatment under control and are motivated to learn something new.
You can work in Finnish or English – English alone is enough for this position.
