Compensation:

• Base Rate: $24.00/hr. • Weekend Premium (Fri., Sat. & Sun.) +$1.50/hr

Schedule:

• 12 hour shift, 7:00am - 7:00pm • 2-2-3 type schedule

Position Description Summary:

• Responsible for shipment scheduling, dispatching, planning, tracking, and tracing. • Coordinate freight claims, provide rate quotes, rate analysis, monitor carrier quality standards, and provide customer service. • Principal Accountabilities (The following is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed. It is not an exhaustive list of all expectations.): • Create scheduling and shipment planning • Interface with Transportation organization and analysts • Prepare rate proposals for customers • Determine most appropriate carriers based on company policy • Ascertain delivery requirements based on company policy
