Production Machine Operator
About this role
The schedule and pay:
• $29.68/hr: $24.68 base plus a $5/hr night shift premium • Monday–Thursday, 6:00pm–6:00am, so every weekend is a 3-day weekend • Paid weekly
Position:
We’re looking for hands-on, mechanically minded operators who enjoy working with equipment, solving problems, and being part of a team that takes pride in what they produce.
• Run automated production equipment and hit daily production goals • Set up equipment and handle preventative maintenance • Troubleshoot, adjust, and make minor repairs using hand tools and measuring devices, and bring in Maintenance when needed to keep the line moving • Take apart and reassemble heavy components using hoists and hand tools • Check product quality, including color blends, and flag anything that's off • Keep accurate daily production and maintenance reports • Hand off clearly at shift change so the next crew knows exactly where things stand • Work safely and follow plant procedures
What you need
• 3+ years in a fast-paced manufacturing environment • Comfort leading or guiding coworkers on the floor • Basic computer skills • Ability to work independently and take initiative • Availability for occasional overtime or weekend coverage when production requires it • High school diploma or GED
Bonus points (not required)
• Mechanical or electrical troubleshooting experience • Experience in concrete or concrete products manufacturing • Familiarity with equipment like Masa, Hess, Omag, Columbia, Rekers, or Besser • Experience with ERP systems or Microsoft Office
