Clinician (Nurse Practitioner, Certified Nurse Midwife, or Physician Associate)
About this role
As a Clinician, you'll provide direct patient care and education in a supportive, collaborative health center environment. On a typical day, you might:
Assess, diagnose, and treat patients seeking sexual and reproductive health care
Provide contraceptive counseling, education, and services
Perform STI screening, testing, diagnosis, and treatment
Provide pregnancy testing, options counseling, and other reproductive health services
Perform clinical exams and procedures within your scope of practice and PPCW protocols
Prescribe medications and treatments as appropriate
Educate patients about their health, treatment options, and follow-up care
Collaborate with nurses, Clinic Assistants, and other health center staff to ensure safe, coordinated care
Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)
Provide compassionate, inclusive, trauma-informed care that respects each patient's needs, identity, and decisions
Schedule & Location We have two regular, onsite Clinician positions available at our Salem Health Center in Salem, Oregon.
Position 1: Part-Time - 22.5 Hours/Week
Day Schedule
Thursday 9:00am-5:00pm
Friday 8:00am-4:00pm
Saturday 8:00am-4:00pm
Position 2: Full-Time - 37.5 Hours/Week
Day Schedule
Tuesday 11:00am-7:00pm
Wednesday 11:00am-7:00pm
Thursday 9:00am-5:00pm
Friday 8:00am-4:00pm
Saturday 8:00am-4:00pm
Candidates may be considered for either position based on their availability and preferences.
