Advocacy and Protective Services, Inc. (APSI) is seeking an experienced Controller to provide leadership and oversight of the organization's fiscal and accounting operations.

Reporting directly to the Executive Director and serving as a member of the Leadership Team, the Controller will play an important role in maintaining APSI's financial health, supporting organizational decision-making, and ensuring strong financial practices.

This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys both hands-on financial management and strategic collaboration.

Compensation & Hybrid Schedule

· Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 annually

· Full-time: 37.5 hours per week

· Initial 30 days: Position is in-office at the Columbus/Clintonville location

· After the first 30 days: Position may transition to a hybrid schedule with 2 days per week in the office

We are especially interested in candidates located in the Columbus area and surrounding communities.

Reporting & Leadership

The Controller:

· Reports directly to the Executive Director

· Serves as a member of the Leadership Team

· Works closely with the Executive Director on financial and organizational priorities

· Supervises one direct report, the Fiscal Assistant

· Serves as the lead staff member for the Finance Committee

· Attends Board and committee meetings
